Too Faced Born This Way

The Natural Nudes Eye Shadow Palette

£35.00

These luxuriously soft nudes are long-wearing, with a velvety texture that’s non-drying. Wonderfully versatile, this entire collection can be used on lips, cheeks and eyes. Nudestix’s latest paints are available in seven sultry shades that are giving us seriously summery vibes. We adore each tin’s luxe look, complete with a handy mirror – plus for this collection, they feature a limited edition design by pop-artist Jessica Gorlicky.

Eve Lom’s entire range is worth bookmarking for its powerful natural ingredients and high-performance results, as created by star facialist Eve Lom.  A beauty industry favourite amongst those in the know, celebrity fans include Kate Hudson, Eva Mendes and Jessica Alba. The brands newest offering is their brightening rescue peel pads. Using natural occurring acids, these clever pads gently exfoliate to stimulate turnover of dead surface cells to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin. These are gentle enough to be used every day – in the evening on clean skin, after cleansing.

We are becoming increasingly aware of the detrimental effect pollution is having on our skin – enter, Givenchy’s newest free-radical fighting foundation balm. Ideal for urban living, this all-in-one formula enhances the complexion whilst also acting as a barrier against pollution and exposure to screen’s blue light, both common complaints of living in a busy city. Teint Couture has a light feel which doesn’t sit heavily on the skin, despite innovative polymers meaning it can last for 24 hours, resisting water and smudging. With a beautiful matte finish, this balm boasts SPF 25 PA++ as well as protective shea and liquorice extracts. Available in fourteen shades, the balm flawlessly adapts to the skin tone, taking into consideration not only skin shades, but its natural undertones.

To help you emulate the 60s starlet’s signature look, hair guru Stephen Durham, working in conjunction with the Brigitte Bardot Foundation, has created a timeless capsule collection inspired by the French icon.

To create an effortless tousle, the lightweight texture spray creates lift and adds fullness – giving you that sought after bed-head hair in no time. The range’s Dry Shampoo will extend the life of your hairstyle with no white residue, thanks to its super absorbent and invisible formula. If you have no time to wash your tresses or simply need a day-to-night boost, this spray delivers refreshed hair in just a few quick spritzes.

This month has blessed us with the extension of Jo Malone’s most-loved fragrance family, Velvet Rose & Oud. From its origins in ancient Persia and featuring the scent of the darkest damask rose, this blend is famed for its magnetic and voluptuous floral scent. Spiked with clove and the decadent edge of praline, this rich and textural note is the perfect complement for the smoky depths and sweet warmth of precious oud wood. Whilst your go-to buy might have previously been the brand’s cologne, this scent now comes in a trendy hair mist, to envelope your locks with a timeless essence.

We were seriously wowed by the sparkle of Givenchy’s latest lipstick. The limited-edition glittering texture quite literally shines – in three flower-inspired shades that leave lips with an on-trend metallic finish. The entirety of the brand’s spring 2020 beauty collection is inspired by Hubert de Givenchy’s passion for gardens. Everything from the gorgeous botanical packaging, product names and colours featured evokes the range’s inspiration, celebrating the vibrant beauty in nature.

The glossy, illuminated skin trend is going nowhere fast, in fact, now spring is on its way there’s no better time to invest in a glow-giving product. This trio of baked highlighting powders beautifully refracts the light, to add dimension and luminosity to every complexion. Soft and silky on the skin, the buildable formula allows for controlled intensity, so you can work up your desired shimmery finish. We love a product that gives you the most use for its money, so it’s ideal that you can use each of the shades on both the eyes and body, too.

Face mask and eye masks are nothing new, but 2020 will see lip masks go mainstream. Drew Barrymore’s Flower beauty line has seen huge success in the US and has now brought its much-loved buys to our shores. If you’re craving soft, healthy-looking lips, look no further than this nourishing treatment, infused with mango and cocoa butter.

Milk makeup has been making serious waves in the US, and in the UK since its launch here in 2019. Now, the brand has unveiled its first-ever cream cleanser – which is set to achieve cult-product status, trust us. Ideal for every skin type and age, this sulphate-free formula creates a milky lather to thoroughly-yet-gently cleanse and nourish the skin. Made from water-storing Kalahari melon and jojoba, as well as vitamin-rich fig milk to soothe and refresh the skin. You can also feel safe in the knowledge that this cleanser is cruelty-free, paraben-free, silicone-free and vegan.

Crabtree & Evelyn has been looking seriously chic since its packaging redesign – now the brand have launched a superfood skincare collection, centred around boosting the complexion with nutrient-rich products. The Berry Bounty Mask is a stand-out buy, improving skins radiance with antioxidant-rich power. To use, mix two parts of the powder to one part water and apply with your fingertips to cleansed skin. Relax whilst the mask works its magic for fifteen minutes, then rinse with warm water. Think of this as a nutritious superfood smoothie, for your skin.

This luminous blusher quad is packaged in the gorgeous, limited-edition floral print from Givenchy’s Gardens Collection. The duo of colour feels weightless on the skin – to achieve a soft, healthy glow, gently buff the colour over the apples of your cheeks with the provided angled brush.

Since launching in the US last year, one of these serums has sold every minute. Formulated with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid, L’Oreal’s highest concentration of the beauty industry’s most sought after ingredient, this serum works deep in the skin to nourish and hydrate. Though Hyaluronic Acid is naturally produced by our bodies, environmental aggressors break it down daily, leaving skin dry and vulnerable. Dry skin is more prone to creases, resulting in the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. We tested out this serum before it hits the shops and the plumping, toning effect will see it set for hero-buy status – mark our words.

Gallinee has taken the beauty world by storm thanks to its innovative probiotic skincare. After the success of its cleansing bars, toners and serums, the brand is launching its very first eye cream. Suitable for the most sensitive of skin, Gallinee know the eye is the most delicate part of the face – meaning it can become an easy target for wrinkles and irritation. Their cream works by rebalancing the microbiome of the skin surrounding the eye, is perfume-free and comes in a tube rather than a pot, so your fingers aren’t transferring bacteria each time you use it. Offering long-lasting moisture, this contour cream will help rebuild the skin’s natural barrier over time.

Clarins Bright Plus Serum is considered the newest solution to dull-looking skin, thanks to a powerful new plant discovery by the iconic brand. Clarins researchers compared the faces of women living mildly populated cities to those living in a busy, highly polluted area and found those in a densely populated city had visibly duller skin – as polluted environments cause an overproduction of melanin, causing skin to look less luminous. They took their findings and created this innovative brightening formula, containing a powerful duo of rose-myrtle and acerola seed extracts. When expertly combined, the extracts provide skin with double oxygenation, helping cells to capture oxygen for a healthy glow. Combined with a high vitamin C derivative to help prevent the formation of dark spots, this serum tackles a multitude of skin issues. Mark this launch as a date for your diary.
