INDEPENDENT MAKERS MARKET
Twins Daisy and Liv Tinker of ultra-stylish Instagram account @asouthlondonmakersmarket want us to shop small and spread joy this Christmas and beyond. That’s why they’ve brought together the most on-trend makers from around the country – so you can shop everything from handmade ceramics to lampshades, art, candles and so much more online. We’re coveting many of the handmade buys as gifts for friends and family, with a little something for ourselves, too.
Entrance to the online markets run on @asouthlondonmakersmarket Instagram page and are free to attend.
THEATRE LOVERS: STREAM AWARD-WINNING EMILIA
Until 2nd December
With an all-female cast, West End hit show Emilia – fresh from winning three Olivier Awards – is available to stream, but only for another day. The plot? In 1609, Emilia Bassano wanted her voice to be heard, but it wasn’t. Now, Emilia and her sisters will reach out across the centuries with passion, fury, laughter and song. Allow them to inspire and unite as they celebrate women’s voices through the story of this trailblazing, forgotten woman.
Emilia is available to stream online on a pay-what-you-can basis, starting at just £1, with captioned and audio-described recordings available.
