When deciding how to update your make up bag and skincare for spring, why not look to the people that try a whole host of products on the reg?

We asked the North East’s beauty bloggers and expert extraordinaires what they’re buying in bulk this February…

Sophie from @calvirose

Sophie has been blogging for over 10 years, sharing her favourite beauty and lifestyle buys with her followers. These are her must-haves:

‘I love the Glossier lash slick mascara. It curls and lengthens without clumping, and is the perfect jet black shade.’

‘I’m a huge fan of Refy’s brow sculpt, which is available in their brow collection. It’s the best product I’ve found to give that on-trend full and fluffy look. The set is available in light, medium or dark.’

‘My favourite foundation right now is Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder. It has a lightweight and breathable formula – perfect for creating a natural everyday look. It also boasts SPF15, to help protect the skin from harmful UV rays.’

Terri @terriheckley

Terri is a fashion and beauty blogger, sharing her favourite buys on her blog Terri Talks. These are the products she’s loving right now:

‘I can’t get enough of Pixi Beauty Glow Tonic. It brightens and tones, thanks to a 5% glycolic acid formula. I use it after cleansing to give my skin a fresh glow. Despite being an acid exfoliator, it’s gentle and is infused with aloe, meaning my skin never feels dried out.’

Maybelline’s Sky High Mascara is a new find that I’m obsessed with. It went viral on TikTok recently, so I tried it and now use it every day. It’s lengthening and super-volumising.’

‘Finally, I couldn’t live without my trusty L’Occitane Hand Cream, especially during these colder months. It ensures my hands are always hydrated and soft.’

Lucy @justlucyslife

Lucy is an award-winning fashion and beauty blogger based in Newcastle. Here’s what she’s packing into her makeup bags right now:

‘One of my current faves would have to be the Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. It’s the ideal nude shade that that looks good on everyone. The formula is non-sticky, super-shiny and enriched with Shea Butter to soften the lips.’

‘A hero product of mine is definitely The Ordinary’s Niacinamide Serum. A steal at £5, Niacinamide (or Vitamin B3) helps reduce the appearance of blemishes, reduces inflammation, minimises the appearance of pores and helps fight congestion that can lead to acne. Every skin type can benefit from using Niacinamide, so it’s a real crowd-pleasing product.’

‘I love the Konjac Facial Sponge In Pink Clay, for gentle exfoliation. It’s ideal for those with sensitive or easily irritated skin, and makes my face feel soft and plumped.’
