Valentine’s Cockies to try this weekend

Forget wine. Lockdown 3.0 has made HLN much more creative with our drinks, with our Ad Exec and former mixologist Molly Ashby teaching us all how to make cocktail bar worthy cockies to enjoy at home.

Moroccan Mint Fizz by Noveltea

Ingredients

50ml Noveltea Tale of Moroccan Mint

12.5ml Elderflower liqueur

12.5ml Fresh lime juice

Method

Shake with ice

Double strain into a chilled champagne flute

Top with prosecco 

Garnish with lime

The Lawrenceburg by Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon

Ingredients

40ml Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon

50ml Cranberry Juice

5ml Lime Juice

5ml Sugar Syrup

Ginger Beer as required

Method

Shake all the ingredients (except the ginger beer!) with ice.

Pour into a glass and top with chilled ginger beer

Garnish with a slice of orange

The 58 Appletini

Ingredients

50ml 58 Apple & Hibiscus Gin

20ml Fresh Pressed Apple Juice 

30ml Hibiscus Tea

5ml Lemon Juice

5ml Sugar Syrup

Pinch of Sea Salt

Method

Add each ingredient to your cocktail shaker

Fill with ice

Us a spoon to stir until cold

Strain into chilled glass

Garnish with dried apple rings

High Society by Coole Swan

Ingredients

50ml Coole Swan Irish Cream Liqueur

20ml Vanilla & Rhubarb Infused Gin

2 x Raspberries

Mint

Method

Shake all of the ingredients over ice.

Strain into martini glass slowly.

Garnish with a raspberry and some mint.
