What is Host & Stay all about?
Host & Stay was born from a love of property and a passion to create a change in the age-old holiday let industry. On the ‘Stay’ side of the business, we provide 5* holiday homes across the North East, Northumberland, North Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Dales and South Wales. With 24/7 guest communications and amenities in the highest 25% of the market, we provide a quality experience for all of our guests – from booking through to check out.
On the ‘Host’ side of the business, we provide an end-to-end service for holiday homeowners. We offer the full package via our in-house team, including finding the right property for our clients, providing interior design services, professional photography, marketing, booking generation, maintenance, housekeeping and a full laundry and linen service. This means Host & Stay are able to provide a hands-free, hassle-free service for our owners – so they can do less but earn more.
What makes the properties you work with stand out from the crowd?
From beach houses to apartments, farmhouses to cottages, all of the properties within our portfolio have the Host & Stay stamp of approval. Our properties have amenities in the highest 25% of the market, so our guests can expect everything and more when they stay. We’re always thinking about our guests’ experience, so we like to add little touches which make the world of difference. These include a tablet in each of our properties where guests can explore the property details, find our recommendations for local restaurants, bars and cafés, and even order a takeaway.

We have properties which sleep two guests, making them perfect for solo adventurers or a couple’s retreat, through to holiday homes which sleep up to 20 guests, which are ideal for group getaways

We offer a fully managed service so owners can enjoy a stress-free experience. We take care of everything – from photography and copywriting, to guest communications and changeovers. We list on 60+ online travel agencies, including Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, TripAdvisor and Expedia, so properties with Host & Stay have maximum exposure. What’s more, our proven methods increase revenue, improve guest satisfaction and improve the profitability of holiday lets. So essentially, owners can do less and earn more.

Our holiday homes have beautiful interiors and outstanding locations. We have a dedicated customer support team who are on hand 24/7 for all questions and queries, so we’re always here for our guests. In the current climate, we know it’s important that guests feel safe, so our properties offer self-check in to ensure contact is limited.
We also have our own in-house cleaning team who uphold the highest standards – which is why our cleanliness score is 9.7* from over 1000+ genuine guest reviews! We also provide flexibility so our guests can choose dates which suit them. We don’t have specific check in and check out days, so guests aren’t restricted to when they can stay.
What does the future look like for Host & Stay?
The future for Host & Stay looks bright! We recently launched Host & Stay Lux, which showcases our most luxurious properties which are in the top 5% of all holiday homes in the UK. These properties are showcased on Plum Guide and Marriott Homes & Villas, so you can expect the best of the best.
We’re expanding rapidly, with up to 20 properties added to our portfolio each month. We’re also always looking to continue to expand our destinations with our Host & Stay franchise programme, so you can expect plenty of new destinations in the near future.
