Where is it?

Nestled in the gorgeous village of Callerton, St John’s Manor is a mere six miles from Newcastle’s city centre and only four from neighbouring Ponteland. A bustling hub in its own right, Callerton lays claim to what is practically its own golf course (just around the corner, in Westerhope) and community centre, where there are loads of local activities and sports to get involved in, if you’re that way inclined. But if you’re more likely to play beer pong than ping pong, fear not – there are plenty of pubs, bars, restaurants and cafés in this neck of the woods too, so you’ll never need to travel far to have a good time. One of our faves? The Jingling Gate. Honestly, it never disappoints.

If you do fancy a night in Newcastle (or day, come to that), the development enjoys excellent transport links, being closely located to the A69 and the A1 motorway. And speaking of transport, when we are allowed to fly off on our jollies again (to anywhere other than the Algarve, anyway), St John’s Manor is only four miles from Newcastle International Airport – so whether you’re going, or family and friends are coming, you can be sure that at least one leg of the journey will be painless.

St John’s Manor has its fair share of local amenities handy, so it hardly matters if you’re a Waitrose warrior, a Morrisons mega-fan or you’re Asda ‘til you die – they’re all just a short drive away. And if family life beckons (or you’re already knee-deep in Play-Doh and muddy football socks), there are a wide choice of educational facilities here too, the closest being Westerhope Primary School and Walbottle Academy.


What is it?

Ok, we get it, that’s enough about the area. What’s not to love, right? But contrary to popular opinion (or, at least, the opinion of Channel 4 bosses), it’s not all about location, location, location. We know you need to be sold on the development itself as much as its surroundings. Say no more…
