Back in the day, reading your star signs (and maybe even those of a potential partner) was the thing to do on a wet weekend. Then horoscopes became a bit passé, slowly disappearing from the back pages of our favourite magazines. But not anymore.
A whole new generation of astrologers are taking over Instagram. And with big names like Jessica Lanyadoo and Amy McDermott of Sisters Village racking up hundreds of thousands of followers – not to mention Adele’s epic ‘Saturn Return’ reveal when discussing her divorce – Gen Z is becoming increasingly attached to the idea that romance might be more related to stars than swipes.

As a general rule of thumb, we seem to get on better with our fellow elements. So, if you’re getting to know someone new and aren’t afraid to ask (or indulge in a spot of social media stalking), it might be a good idea to find out when they were born and if your elements are compatible.
In general, where elements are concerned, like goes with like – so aim to date your fellow fire, earth, air or water element.
