We’re always searching for some sort of miracle to treat our skin concerns.

As the saying goes beauty is more than skin deep but we have to admit when we are battling breakouts or are self-conscious about our dry skin, we don’t feel 100% ourselves.

We’ve tried everything to calm our spots and treat our wrinkles, from toothpaste, honey to cucumbers, the list goes on. But listen up ladies, we’ve found the answer to all your worries. In just 5 small steps using the latest technology, this advanced facial can target all your skin concerns in just one treatment. Introducing… the HydraFacial.

Want to know more? Well, home in the heart of Newcastle’s Northumberland Street is Newcastle Laser Clinics UK who offer this treatment. The team here understand that beauty isn’t ‘one size fits all’ so offer a tailored treatment plan to ensure they meet our individual needs and achieve our desired results.

As soon as you walk through the door, you’ll feel welcome, at ease and ready to enjoy your pamper. With over 16 years in the aesthetics industry, owner and director Lauren Mackenzie knows everything there is to get those long-lasting results we need. That’s why we caught up with her to find out more about the HydraFacial…

WHAT IS A HYDRAFACIAL?

HydraFacial is an amazing technology that delivers the results of an advanced facial in under 30 minutes. Designed to cleanse, extract and hydrate, this 5 step treatment can help you improve the appearance of;

  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Elasticity & firmness
  • Skin texture
  • Enlarged pores
  • Skin tone and vibrancy
  • Oily & congested skin

HydraFacial uses advanced, patented vortex technology to cleanse the skin deeply and effectively deliver botanical ingredients containing nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, horse chestnut seed extract, red algae extract, copper, zinc, and magnesium peptides to where they do the best. In addition, HydraFacial also delivers powerful antioxidants to counteract damage by free radicals – from pollution, sun, and stress – which can degrade the skin and accelerate the ageing process.

THE 5 STEPS OF HYDRAFACIAL

Step 1: Detox

We begin with Lymphatic drainage that improves circulation of the lymph system and helps to eliminate toxins.

Step 2: Cleanse & Peel

This uncovers a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing.

Step 3: Extract & Hydrate

We remove debris from pores with painless suction and nourish with intense moisturisers that quench skin.

Step 4: Fuse & Protect

We saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow.

Step 5: Rejuvenation

We finish with red and infrared LED light to reduce redness and further stimulate collagen, supporting the natural production of vitamin D.

WE ASK OWNER AND DIRECTOR LAUREN ALL YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT A HYRDAFACIAL…

Does it hurt?

Not at all, it’s quite relaxing.

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment can take from 30/45 minutes depending on the type of HydraFacial you choose

How much does it cost?

Treatment starts from £119 per session up to £199. However, we do offer a 30% discount on purchases of 4 or more sessions

What type of skin does the treatment work best on?

HydraFacial works on all skin types and can treat a variety of skin concerns. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your therapist would tailor specific treatment serums and/or customise the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs.

[Swipe for before]

How many treatments are needed to see results?

Whilst you will feel the benefit 7-10 days after a HydraFacial, you need a course of 6 treatments initially to see lasting results.

How long do the results last?

After your initial course of 6 treatments, we recommend that you then have sessions every 4-5 weeks to maintain your results.

Can I wear makeup after my HydraFacial?

We suggest not wearing make up for 24 hours unless you use mineral makeup as this is fine to apply straight afterwards.

Can I continue my regular skincare regime after my treatment?

You can but to get the most out of your treatment course, we recommend at home treatment in between your sessions involving the use of vitamin C powder/rejuvenate 15, age defence SPF and retinol. We would advise you of your aftercare fully in clinic.
