6 of the best bottomless brunch spots in the North East
Free-flowing fizz, beautiful brunches and day drinking vibes – we’ve got you covered.
We’re sure you’ve noticed your Insta feed being flooded with selfies from bottomless brunches every weekend recently – everyone’s loving it.
Time to jump on this top trend! There’s nothing better than unlimited alcohol and some good brunch food to go with it. In fact, we’re pretty sure it’s what dreams are made of. And when 10.00am is the new 10.00pm, things get even better. After all, what’s not to love about day drinking? After a day well spent on the fizz, you can get a full night’s sleep and wake up feeling fresh as a daisy!
With so many brilliant bottomless brunch options here in the North East, the only difficulty is deciding where to go. But as always, we’ve got you. We’ve shortlisted our top six bottomless brunch spots that’ll have you indulging in the bubbles…

No28, Newcastle
You’ll discover this absolute gem right in the heart of Newcastle. Inside you’ll have a choice between 90 mins or two hours (we know which one we’ll be picking) of free-flowing prosecco. After mastering the prosecco brunch etiquette (Rach, our bottomless brunch queen is a pro), what we love about No28’s bottomless fizz is that they leave the full bottle on the table rather than having to wait for your glass to be filled.
Although it is called a brunch it can get a bit boring only brunch dishes on the menu. That’s why No28 spices things up by serving tapas. Plus, No28 extends past typical brunch hours and isn’t just on a weekend – which we adore. From homemade meatballs in their chef’s own sauce to southern fried chicken tossed No28’s famous Jack Daniels glaze to garlic and white wine tiger prawns, you’ll get the option of one tapas with patatas bravas bread and salad for the table.
And best of all, this brunch isn’t just on at the weekend. Break up your week (if you’re brave enough to go to work with a hangover) at No28’s ‘brunch’, that extends past typical brunching hours, on every Tuesday to Friday 5.00pm – 9.00pm, or end your busy week with a brunch on Saturday and Sunday 12noon – 8.00pm, for £28 per person.
No28, 27–29 Nelson Street, Newcastle, NE1 5AN

The team at The Library open their doors for a boozy brunch EVERY DAY until 2.00pm! We love it. Here you’ll get 90 mins of endless prosecco or, if prosecco isn’t for you, draft beers and G&T’s.
