Gino D’Acampo, Newcastle Quayside

Offer: Two courses for £15; three courses for £20

We’ve been regulars at Gino D’Acampo’s Newcastle Quayside restaurant since it opened in 2021. We love the food and we’re all about the atmosphere it has, too. We’d recommend the calamari with garlic mayonnaise to start, then the meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce finished off Italian style with panna cotta with amaretto.

No28 Newcastle

Offer: Two tapas and a side for £15

Multi-award-winning late-night bar, No28, is well-known as Newcastle City Centre’s finest hidden gem and for serving one of the best bottomless brunches going. But now they’ve launched a tapas menu just in time for Restaurant Week for you to try. We’re talking garlic king prawns, Manchego cheese and southern fried chicken.

The Exchange

Offer: Two courses for £10; three courses for £15

Inspired by the 1930s, The Exchange is Newcastle’s finest speakeasy. An underground hideaway from the hustle and bustle of Northumberland Street, here you can tuck into everything from mac and cheese for starters to beef chilli tacos for the main event and Eton mess to finish things off. We guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

The Hustle

Offer: Two courses for £10; three courses for £15

Offering an inclusive, luxury new spot, this all-day disco lounge serves a New York-style tapas menu this Restaurant Week with dishes including Thai-style chicken curry, The Hustle Burger and prosciutto pizza cooked in an in-house pizza oven. Not forgetting The Hustle’s contemporary cocktail menu to wash this delicious offer down with.

Offer: Two courses for £15; three courses for £20

Inspired by the elegant charm of a classic Italian ristorante with a contemporary buzz and a modern, stylish interior, Gusto brings the true taste of Italy to the Toon. With bruschetta to start things off, followed by truffled mushroom fettuccine for the main and Italian tiramisu for pudding, satisfy all your cheese and carby cravings here.

Ury Sūpasātra

Offer: Four courses for £20

Ury Sūpasātra is the first restaurant serving up a slice of Sri Lankan and South Asian cuisine to the Quayside. So, whether you’re looking for fiery curries, mouth-watering seafood or sweet relishes, Ury Sūpasātra has spiced things up with their fantastic offer of four courses for £20 – meaning you get the chance to really explore their menu. We’re talking masala vada, lamb madras and mango sorbet for pudding.

Dobson & Parnell

Lunch offer (12pm-2pm, Wed-Sat): Three courses for £20
Dinner offer (5.30pm-9.30pm, Wed-Thurs & 5.30pm-7pm, Fri): Two courses for £20

Pushing the boundaries of British and European cuisine, this award-winning spot is definitely one of our faves. Try Cornish crab mayonnaise, cucumber gazpacho and fennel to start, followed by salt aged 10oz flat iron steak with beef fat chips, before sweetening things up with an apricot tarte tatin, toasted almond ice cream. Dobson & Parnell serve taste sensations you’ve never tried before.
