Cheat’s burrata toast

Get the Sunday brunch of dreams without leaving the comfort of your own home.

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

300g Burrata (we recommend heading to see Moz at Grate in Jesmond to sort you out)

200g Crème fraîche

2 Ripe figs

4 Slices of sourdough bread

8 Slices of Prosciutto

2 Tbsp runny honey

Pinch of salt

Pinch of pepper

Glug of olive oil

METHOD

Tear your burrata into pieces, then pop it into a bowl. Add your crème fraîche and a good pinch of salt, then give it all a mix.

Cover the bowl with cling film and pop it in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Cut your figs into quarters.

Toast your bread in a frying pan with olive oil until the slices are crispy.

Spoon your cheat’s burrata onto your toast. Top with slices of prosciutto, figs, a drizzle of honey and a crack of black pepper.
