Known best for their bottomless brunch, here’s what else No28 Newcastle bring to the table…

From tipsy afternoon tea to a couple’s feast (exploring their newly launched tapas menu) and introducing the Toon to ‘boutique clubbing’, No28 never fail to bring something unique to the Newcastle hospitality scene…

One of Newcastle’s prettiest late-night bars, No28, is a real hidden gem.

With a great atmosphere in a one-of-a-kind venue, it’s the bar that’s bringing its own chic, unique, feel-good vibes to the Toon.

As soon as you climb the staircase up into this stylish hideaway, you feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Grainger Market that lies below. From an illuminated cherry blossom tree hanging over the bar to the secluded seating booths spaced around the patio area, each with different quirks, and disco balls spinning some magic into the mix, there’s no wonder No28 Newcastle has become a popular haunt for a night out to remember.

Although you may already know No28 for their brilliant bottomless brunches, this award-winning bar brings way more to the table. Now with a new Executive Chef on board, this beautiful bar has recently launched its new tapas menu for us to explore, alongside plenty of dining and drinks offers to choose from.

So, whether you’re up for a tipsy afternoon tea with the girls, you’re ready to indulge in an intimate dinner date, or you’re looking for a dreamy drinking destination for your birthday celebration, look no further than No28…

BOTTOMLESS PROSECCO BRUNCH

Price: £28 per person

When: Tues to Thurs: 5pm–7pm, Fri: 2pm–7pm, Sat & Sun: 12pm–6pm

Continuing what they do best, No28 serves one of the best bottomless brunches in the North East. You’ll have a choice between 90 mins or two hours (we know which one we’ll be going for), of free-flowing prosecco. After mastering the prosecco brunch etiquette (Rach, our bottomless brunch queen, is a pro), what we love about No28’s bottomless fizz is that they leave the full bottle on the table rather than leaving you waiting for your glass to be filled. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

Although it is called a bottomless ‘brunch’, it can get a bit boring having only brunch dishes available on the menu. That’s why No28 spice things up by serving tapas. From homemade meatballs in their chef’s own sauce to southern fried chicken tossed in No28’s famous Jack Daniels glaze, or garlic and white wine tiger prawns, you’ll get the option of one tapas with patatas bravas, bread and salad for the table. Plus, No28 bottomless prosecco brunch extends past typical brunch hours and isn’t just on a weekend, which we adore.

HLN TOP TIP: We’ve had the heads up that No28 will be soon adding G&T to their bottomless brunch menu for a £2 per person supplement, with some other new exciting options, too.

NEW SUMMER COCKTAIL MENU

Price: £12 for two cocktails (selected cocktails only)

When: Sun-Fri: Anytime

Get the taste of summer with No28’s new seasonal cocktail menu. Whether you’re feeling something fruity, like mango pornstar martini and a watermelon cooler, you’re craving an exotic sip with white sangria or a coconut margarita, or you fancy something more indulgent like butterscotch espresso martini or banana dream, there’s something for all types of drink lovers.

With the cost of living going up, we’re all feeling slightly guilty every time we’re spending on some of the frivolities of life. But why should we feel bad about spending on the things we love – like cheeky cocktails?! Well, the good news is, almost every hour is happy hour at No28 Newcastle, with two of the same selected cocktails for £12 all day and night Sunday to Friday.
