As our nation and the world are preparing to say our final goodbyes to Queen Elizabeth II following Her Majesty’s devasting passing, we all are finding our own ways to honour the longest-serving monarch in British history.

Thousands of people across the nation have gathered at historical royal landmarks to lay flowers and pay their tribute to one of the most respected and adored women in the world for all she has done for our country.

For those of you who would like to pay your final respects to Queen Elizabeth II, we’ve pulled together a list of memorial sites in the North East where you can lay flowers and sign books of condolence.
