But it can be hard to keep up with the latest trends and know how to your living your own. Enter Catherine Muir Interior Design who can give your home or business that real wow factor.

What makes Catherine’s experience unique is that she’s worked in both high-end and more affordable interior teams, meaning she’ll encourage you to look at items across a range of price points.

And if you’re wanting your space to be totally unique to you, then you’re in luck. Catherine has access to stunning trade furniture that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. We’re talking designer pieces, items that she can bespoke or something antique. Catherine will hand-select furniture that perfectly matches your functionality, style and space.

So, whether you’re decorating a contemporary modern flat, upgrading a cosy old cottage or want to introduce a lounge in your office, Catherine shares all the inspiration you need. Plus, we check out her newly launched luxury lounge collection.

CONTEMPORARY TRADITIONAL LOUNGE

When updating this lounge in a beautiful traditional property in County Durham, Catherine kept in mind the classic style of the property but brought a contemporary style.

From adding panelling painted in a bold, contemporary teal – which complements the purple sofa (which the client wanted to keep) – to having a fresh colour scheme with creams and golds, this room has a soft, warm and inviting feel.

SOFA RANGE

Think contemporary, calm and textured. Catherine’s first range is the Sanctuary collection which each sofa is handmade in Country Durham by the talented team at Meridian Upholstery.

LOUNGE COLLECTION

From the Sanctuary collection for a calm, contemporary look to the Nostalgia collection for more traditional designs and then the Embrace collection for mid-century styles and something a bit different, Catherine has pulled together three different collections to suit all of our styles.

This beautiful lounge collection is different from any other furniture style you will find in the North East with each piece being made to last and with high-quality natural materials.
