We’ll be honest, we might have shed a tear or two when we heard Dot Bagel was going into liquidation earlier this year.

But the bagel gods have answered our prayers, and Dot Bagel is coming back, thanks to the team behind Kennedy and Rhind.

The Chillingham Road site is being given a new lease of life – which we’re so pleased to hear includes re-employing the majority of staff who lost their jobs went the business folded.

And we don’t have long to wait either. The shop should be up and running again by early December and will be expanded to include new offerings for the first time including a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as pastries and pies.
