Women’s Circle: New Moon & Spring Equinox

Welcome the new moon and honour new beginnings, set intentions and feel connected throughout the practice at this Women’s Circle. The new moon coincides with the spring equinox – a time for renewal and rejuvenation. In the session, you’ll meet other like-minded women and learn more about how the moon affects you, journaling practices, self-inquiry practices and guided meditation.

Women in Planning North East ‘Freedom At Work’ Breakfast

When: Tuesday 14th March (8:00am – 9:00am)

This inspirational breakfast is a brilliant opportunity to hear more about workplace freedom and network with other women in business. Speaker Phil Airson is a coach, psychotherapist and business owner who will draw on his speciality area of relationship-building. You’ll explore what relationships are key to success and how to improve them, starting with the relationship you have with yourself.

Women Only Cycle Confidence Training Sessions

If you’ve always wanted to ride a bike or fancy brushing up your skills, sign up for this women-only cycle confidence lesson. As a registered and experienced Bikeability instructor, Jan hopes to more women cyclists become confident in riding a bike in this 75-minute session. Once you’ve built your confidence, you’ll move on to road safety and regular journey/commuter training.

Empowering Bellyfit Class for Women

When: Friday 10th March (12:30pm – 1:30pm)

Where: Walbottle Village Institute, Walbottle

Enjoy the ultimate workout with this empowering Bellyfit class aimed at every woman of all ages and fitness levels. Bellyfit has it all – fitness, yoga, belly dancing and even meditation. This class is all about joining an amazing community of women to celebrate yourself and your body and most importantly to have fun. All you need to bring is a yoga mat, comfy clothes and trainers, plus a blanket if it’s cold.

Enjoy a glass of fizz or two as you get to know like-minded businesswomen at this ladies’ networking event. Spend a fun afternoon chatting with new acquaintances and raising a toast to all the women out there in the business world. Plus, you’ll also have the chance to enter a business card draw in aid of Maggie’s, a charity which offers free support to anyone diagnosed with cancer.

Join EWiF’s (Encouraging Women into Franchising) next meeting to discover more about franchising and network with others in the industry. Hosting the meeting is EWiF’s Regional Chair, Angela Sterling, who founded the language school Lingotot and helps franchisees set up their own Lingotot businesses.
