The tapas-style Asian-inspired small plates include chicken and vegetable gyoza, Korean fried chicken, marinated pork belly and baby back ribs.

They also have a range of traditional red and green Thai curries, a delicious sounding Massaman curry and a classic chicken katsu.

DRINK

BLACK SHEEP COFFEE

139 Grainger Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 5AE

The newest addition to Grainger Street, this coffee shop is getting some seriously good Google reviews already, with one visitor saying the breakfast is 10/10.

They pride themselves on serving the world’s first speciality grade Robusta coffee beans, promising a great taste for coffee lovers. We want to try the signature ‘Black Hoof’ – espresso, organic coconut milk, cinnamon, milk and micro foam – which promises to give a slow energy release throughout the day.

They also have some really interesting looking Norwegian waffles which come in all of the traditional flavours (yes, including Nutella) as well as a brown cheese and jam combination that looks delish.
