It’s a fact: bottomless brunch has swept the nation.

What it is about this free-flowing fizz sensation that has stolen our hearts, no one really knows. Maybe it’s the fact that bottomless brunch combines a catch-up over good food with a night on the tiles. Maybe it’s that we can experiment with food and drinks we’ve never tried before without wasting money. Maybe it’s that we can be home in bed by 8pm.

All we know is, we love it.

But because of its booming popularity over the last year or so, we’re seeing bottomless brunch Newcastle (and, indeed the whole North East) wide. They’re popping up all over the place – and with varying degrees of decadence.

What we want now is to separate the wheat from the chaff. To know the incredible bottomless brunch offerings from the average. And we reckon you probably do, too.

Which is why we’re letting you in on a little secret: Baltic’s iconic rooftop restaurant, SIX, has one of the best in the business.

SIX BALTIC

Perched atop of Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts, SIX is a refined restaurant in the clouds ready to help your celebrations take flight.

Here, it’s about style, sleek sophistication and an unrivalled dining experience with all the air of exclusivity and glamour that rooftop dining brings. There’s no other word for it, guys: SIX is swanky.

And sure, there are other swanky restaurants about. Quite frankly, we’re blessed with them here in the North East. But at SIX it’s a style that’s matched with substance.

After all, where else would you look up from your plate of sumptuous dining and gaze out over panoramic views of Newcastle’s vibrant quayside? By day, you can see the buzz of city life unfold before your eyes, while by night the lights from this sparkling metropolis will lend an air of romance to your evening.

You’ll find great food at any top restaurant. And you’ll enjoy epic views on the roof of the tallest building in any city. But SIX Baltic is one of the few restaurants we’ve been to where you really get both.

Dining at what feels like the top of the world just adds weight to your celebrations. It brings with it a sense of gravity and importance and makes you feel like you’re in a Hollywood blockbuster, ready to bump into something life-changing at any given moment.

And yet, SIX is anything but stuffy. Don’t worry about “not fitting in” with the vibe here, and we promise you’ll understand everything on their menu. And sure, you can rock up in your LBDs and black ties if you want, but you can expect a warm, relaxed dining experience in your jeans and a nice top, too.

Whether it’s brunch with the girls or a date night done right, SIX at the Baltic promises an unforgettable sense of occasion to your next get-together – without the price tag you might expect.

DINING AT SIX BALTIC

The biggest attraction to dining at SIX Baltic may well be its sensational city views (and with good reason).

But it’s their refined menu of modern, British bistro dishes that has diners coming back time and again.

It’s a menu that reflects the passion for fresh, seasonal and local produce here. One that champions a commitment to being environmentally conscious, which remains at the heart of everything the team at SIX do.

And a menu that promises to elevate your next meal out from mid to major success.

Featuring plenty of plant-based options, you can tuck into everything from brunch at 10am, through lunch and afternoon tea, right down to your evening meal as late as 9pm.

You can even just pop into SIX for drinks only, if you’ve already eaten.

SIX’S BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH, NEWCASTLE

And now, for possibly the main event: the swanky bottomless brunch Newcastle really deserves.

Served between 12pm and 2pm from Wednesday to Saturday, bottomless brunch at SIX includes two courses from their sumptuous, generously portioned brunch menu alongside 90 minutes of free-flowing Prosecco or beer for just £45.

Plus, you can upgrade to unlimited English sparkling wine for an additional £28 or add one of their sinfully sweet puddings for an additional £6, should your sweet tooth strike.

With an ever-changing menu using only the freshest ingredients, you can expect to tuck into everything from 16hr braised pork cheek; Atlantic prawns with smoked tomato jelly and avocado cream, to beer-battered cod and chips.

All that finished off with the likes of dark chocolate mousse, eton mess or a London dry gin and lime tonic slushy – and maybe just one more glass of the good stuff.

Now that’s a bottomless brunch done right.
