Home in a gorgeous location where the Ouseburn meets the River Tyne, The Cycle Hub is more than just a delicious cake and a quirky coffee venue – it has become a secret space to celebrate special occasions.

Gone are the days of hosting events in your local pub, why not level up to your hostess with the mostess skills by hiring a unique venue that many of your guests won’t have been to before?

Look no further than… The Cycle Hub.

The hidden gem Hub is a secluded space perfect for hosting any type of event, whether it be a wedding reception, birthday party, retirement party, end-of-term party for teachers or social evenings for sports clubs. You can even fire up your BBQ skills.

But one thing that stands out to us is that iconic view. With panoramic views of the city where you can watch the sunset over Newcastle Quayside, an event hosted at The Cycle Hub is guaranteed to be a memorable one.

HLN TOP TIP: The Cycle Hub is kindly offering our readers £100 off exclusive hire (normally £250 from 5pm – 12pm) by quoting ‘HLN100’ upon booking.

MAKE YOUR EVENT YOUR OWN

Unlike many other venues in Newcastle, The Cycle Hub gives you the freedom to create an event that’s unique to you. Whether you want to celebrate your wedding reception by adding a pop-up marquee from Covered Events to increase the capacity to 150 guests and decorate the whole venue with white balloons or planning an intimate surprise birthday party for your loved one with just 30 of their nearest and dearest, the options are endless.

SERVE YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD

When looking at different venues to host your party often those set buffet menus really aren’t up to scratch. But at The Cycle Hub, you’re able to hire your favourite catering and street food van without any extra cost. And there’s no need to worry about drinks either, as their licenced bar is fully stocked with plenty of locally sourced beers, spirits and wine, including specialities from Guest Wines, Newcastle Gin Co. and Allendale Brewery to get the party started. Even if you have a favourite tipple that isn’t on the menu, the dedicated team can order it, especially for your event.

HLN TOP TIP: If you’re after some recommendations of food vendors, the lovely Jill is on hand to help at [email protected]

SUPPORTING LOCAL

Booking your event here means you’re supporting a local business. What we love about The Cycle Hub is that they shop locally wherever possible. We’re talking about an amazing selection of indulgent cakes from long-time HLN friends Cake Stories and  Middle Eastern-style catering from Yasmin at Layla’s Kitchen.

INCLUSIVE SPACE

The Cycle Hub isn’t just for cyclists, it’s an inclusive, safe haven for everyone. By booking an event at The Hub you can help make a real difference, as some of your money goes towards their social enterprise which helps to get more people cycling in our city.
