Over the last two years the shopping centre has welcomed 32 new shops and 25 existing stores – such as Zara – have invested to refurbish or upsize their offering.

EVERLAST GYMS, UPPER RED MALL
Fitness fanatics, listen up. The UK’s largest hybrid gym is landing at Metrocentre and is set to open in November 2023. The new flagship Everlast Gym is an enormous 37,000-square-foot facility located on the top floor of the former Debenham’s unit, providing state-of-the-art design and specialised group training concepts. Plus, full-size boxing rings, saunas and ice baths. Get ready for an immersive fitness experience like no other.

ZARA, UPPER & LOWER RED MALL
The wait is almost over… fashion giant, Zara, is expected to open a brand new unit, almost three times the size of its former Red Mall store, on Thursday 28th September 2023. As the only Zara in the region, the upgraded space further strengthens the shopping experience and features an expanded product offering across all departments, including menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.
ROWEN, UPPER PLATINUM MALL
If you love nothing more than glam home décor, then luxury homeware store, Rowen, is the interior haven for you. After opening earlier this year, expect statement, neutral and stylish furniture and accessories – from hotel-style headboards to cosy cushions.
