INSIDE THE SNUGS

Stouslie Snugs offers a choice of three exquisite glamping pods named the Sleepy Sheep, Cosy Cow, and the Dozy Dog. Each pod, known as a snug, can comfortably accommodate up to four guests and is thoughtfully designed with the same facilities but each boasts a unique interior theme.

As you step inside the snug, you’ll be embraced by an ambience of warmth and comfort. The floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the breathtaking views of rolling green hills, infusing the space with natural light. And the locally produced artwork and crafts in the snug create a contemporary and inviting atmosphere.

While you are surrounded by the beauty of nature, you won’t sacrifice modern comfort. Each snug is equipped with all the amenities you’d expect.

Whether your ideal evening involves snuggling up on the sofa (which conveniently converts into an additional double bed) with the cosy underfloor heating, indulging in a Netflix movie on the 32-inch Smart TV, or whipping up a romantic meal in the fully equipped kitchen complete with an outdoor dining table for alfresco eating, Stouslie Snugs caters to every type of guest.

HLN TOP TIP: Stouslie Snugs welcome up to two well-behaved dogs in their Sleepy Sheep and Dozy Dog pods with an additional charge of £20 per stay.

A RURAL OASIS

Step outside onto the decking and prepare to be captivated by the sweeping views of the Teviotdale Valley and the breathtaking landscapes beyond. This rural haven is a sanctuary for wildlife, where deer, owls, hares, badgers, and the farm’s resident Highland cows, calves, sheep, and lambs roam freely in the fields.

Take a moment to relax and unwind in the outdoor seating area, bathed in the gentle glow of festoon string lighting, within your own private, enclosed garden. And why not take advantage of a hand-built bespoke BBQ station, complete with shelter to shield you from the weather while you cook up sizzling sausages or juicy burgers for tea?

But the true highlight of a stay at Stouslie Snugs Luxury Farm Glamping is the Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub. After a day of exploring the Scottish Borders, immerse yourself in the warm, chemical-free waters while gazing at the star-studded night sky with a glass of wine in hand. As you listen to the crackling of the fire and chirping birds, you’ll find yourself enveloped in the tranquil sounds of peace and quiet.

And for added convenience and privacy, a beautiful pergola with a retractable screen is in place at the front, allowing you to enjoy the hot tub experience in any weather, with that extra touch of seclusion.
