Unique gifts, a seasonal menu in The Factory Kitchen, Christmas-themed workshops and festive shopping events – Christmas 2023 at The Biscuit Factory looks set to be a cracker.

An independent art gallery based in Ouseburn, The Biscuit Factory is a hub of art, crafts and design – celebrating artists and makers from across the UK.

With a gift shop packed full of unique gifts and The Factory Kitchen serving delicious seasonal menus – it’s one of our favourite places to visit at any time of year.

But there’s something about Christmas at The Biscuit Factory that hits differently – it’s full of festive gorgeousness.

Here’s what you can expect this year…

The Biscuit Factory winter social

Friday 24th November, 6-9pm

What better way to kick off Christmas than a winter social? Celebrate the start of the season with a cosy evening of art, music, drinks and festive cheer.

It also marks the launch of a new exhibition by Dutch artist Robert van Hoek who is well known for his beautifully atmospheric landscape paintings.

Shop from a huge range of original handmade gifts from independent artists while enjoying seasonal refreshments and live music from a folk band and Christmas choir.

And if you want to carry on into the evening, book a table at The Factory Kitchen’s Winter Supper Club.

The Biscuit Factory

A rare opportunity to look behind the scenes as Ouseburn’s creative artists throw open the doors to their studios for the weekend.

Speak to artists, find out their creative processes and pick up some truly original gifts for Christmas.

Make a day of it by booking a Festive Afternoon Tea in The Factory Kitchen, or pop in to try the hot chocolate menu.

There are also music and poetry performances on Sunday at 1pm and 3pm.
