5 last-minute Christmas nights out you can get to by Metro

Ok, so you may have left planning your Christmas night out until the last minute. No biggie, we’ve found plenty of options still available. And here’s another thing you don’t need to worry about – having a designated driver…

We know the feeling, guys.

What with planning Christmas dinner, attending nativities, navigating your way through enough Santa visits, picking up stocking fillers, battling the latest round of sniffly noses and puzzling over what to get your secret Santa, you can be forgiven for forgetting to book a table for your annual girls’ night out.

It’s a tradition that, as easy as it would be to just forgo, shouldn’t be underestimated. Our friends are the ones who are by our sides through thick and thin, understanding when we can’t be at 100% and putting the fun factor into our lives.

And Christmas is as good a time as any to celebrate them.

So, don’t sweat the small stuff. You focus on reining in the group chat enough to get a date you can all make in the diary – we’ve already found five festive destinations that are sure to level-up your Christmas night out without even trying.

Speaking of making things as easy as possible, we’ve made sure the following five events are all reachable by Metro – so you don’t even need to stress about how you’re getting there.

With trains running every 12 minutes, avoid the traffic, save a few pennies (to spend on cocktails later), and take a quick, reliable Metro journey to any of these festive faves…

HLN Hint: We’d recommend getting a Metro Pop PAYG card, as it’s the most cost-effective way to get around, with travel cheaper than single and day tickets. Plus, it’s capped – so you never end up paying too much. You’re welcome.
