Little Asia Gen 2.0

14 Stowell Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 4XQ

So fun to visit with friends. Chinese hot pot is an interactive meal where diners sit around a simmering pot of soup at the centre of the table. Each person can choose their raw ingredients – meat, seafood and vegetables – to personalise their own broth and choose what dipping sauce to eat it with. Little Asia also offers a standard Chinese food menu.

Kwai Feh

Unit 4 South Drive, Great Park, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE13 9DZ

A stylish Chinese restaurant and takeaway location on Great Park in Gosforth. The staff are super friendly and it offers a brilliant gluten-free menu too. It offers a great value three-course banquet menu from £21.00. Our favourite dishes are the dim sum, gyoza and anything honey and chilli. Yum.

Nudo Noodle House

54-56 Low Friar Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 5UE

We love the story behind this restaurant. Owner Karen Lau opened Nudo Noodle House in memory of her parents. As a British-born Chinese, she was raised by her parents who had migrated to the UK as first-generation Chinese. As a young child she loved noodles and has fond memories of her parents shouting ‘Kallun, your nudo is ready!’ Her ethos is fresh, healthy a sumptuous Chinese food and Nudo’s speciality is, of course, noodles.
