EASTER WEEKEND AT AUCKLAND CASTLE

Get outside this Easter Weekend with lots of family fun at Auckland Castle. Pet some adorable animals, enjoy live performers, meet a real-life Easter bunny and unleash your creativity with a range of engaging family crafting workshops. To top things off, embark on an Easter Egg Hunt around the Castle grounds – a must during Easter!
CHILDREN’S EASTER NEST MAKING AND ADULT’S SPARKLING CREAM TEA

Get your little crafters at the ready because an Easter adventure awaits. Mini chefs will get to make and decorate their own Easter Nest’s and Mini Egg which can be taken and enjoyed from home. But that’s not all – after all that crafting, it’ll be time to refuel with a special mini tea. While they’re busy getting in the Easter spirit, grown-ups can relax over a delicious sparkling cream tea. Easter, cracked.

Set to be the biggest and best BATTLE OF THE BURGER experience to date. With more vendors, more choice, more sides, more sweet stuff, more bars and more seating.
This free entry event showcases the best burgers in the region and beyond, inviting vendors to duke it out for the right to claim BEST in the land. The specifics are simple, buy tokens, eat burgers, tell them which one you liked most. As always set to the backdrop of a killer soundtrack. Vegan and vegetarian options are always available. Plus, dogs and family are welcome.
NERD FEST 2024

If you’re a lover of all things nerdy, then this fun-filled event is the perfect day out. Be awed by movie props and magicians, browse geeky stalls, play on free arcade machines and get dressed up for various cosplay competitions. Special guests Diane Youdale (Jet from Gladiators) and Ross Mullan (Game of Thrones and Doctor Who actor) will even be making an appearance!
LIFE DRAWING SESSION
When: Tuesday 2nd April, 7.00pm – 9.00pm

Try your hand at life drawing with this ultra-casual session at Shanti Bee Wellbeing & Yoga Studio, led by artist Phoebe Sara. Simply bring your own paper, drawing supplies and something to lean on, and you’re off! You’ll start with some quick warm-ups, then make your way through at least seven drawings with the life model in different poses. This isn’t a class – it’s a laidback, inclusive environment that lets you give life drawing a go and have fun in the process!
