AELIUS ALTERNATIVE MUSIC FESTIVAL

Aelius Alternative is a brand-new all-day music festival taking place in various venues across Newcastle City Centre this Saturday. With a line-up of artists from a range of different genres, it’s a great way to support the local music scene and emerging artists. Venues include Head of Steam Neville Street, The Globe and Mosaic Tap, and there will even be a comedy stage at Zapatista to showcase the North East’s up-and-coming comedians. To cap the night, head to the afterparty at The Globe and enjoy goth, post-punk and dark wave below ground, or rock ’n’ roll in the upstairs space.

Party until midnight with this eclectic DJ set from Paul Smith of Maxïmo Park and Peter Brewis of Field Music.
