Kate will read poems from her sellout show of the same name, as well as introduce new work focusing on the highs and lows of fitting into a society that isn’t so neurodiversity-affirming.

BALTIC SHOP CREATES: WOOD BLOCK PRINTING

Be guided through the process of wood block printing in this fun hands-on workshop. Shiori Naruse, founder of the design label Naruse Design, will show you how to design an image, transfer it onto a block, carve your design using specialist tools, and finally print the image by hand. Celebrate the RNLI’s 200th birthday with this unique event at Cullercoats Lifeboat Station. Witness the signing of the scroll by the Cullercoats RNLI team – a scroll pledging to save lives at sea – then prepare yourself for a group dip in the sea! With around 200 people wading into the bay and forming a huge human circle, this is sure to be an unforgettable event. Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned cold-water swimmer.

Following the success of their first Final Symphony concert last year, Royal Northern Sinfonia are back with another exciting portrayal of the Final Fantasy soundtracks. The much-loved orchestra will be joined by special guests Eckehard Stier (conductor) and Mischa Cheung (pianist), who will treat the audience to atmospheric music from Final Fantasy V, VIII, IX and XIII.
