BALTIC SHOP CREATES: ORIGAMI BAG

In this friendly sewing workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own geometric print origami bag under the guidance of textile designer Amy Trainor. Amy will show you how to thread a sewing machine, cut out an origami bag pattern, sew pattern pieces using the machine, fold the fabric using an origami technique, and add a sturdy handle. TALES FROM THE MIDDLE AGES: SEX, SMUT AND SCATOLOGY

Get to know other amazing women on this free walk-and-talk through Jesmond Dene. Grab a cuppa and bite to eat at One Kitchen and Social before beginning the walk down to Pet’s Corner and the idyllic Jesmond Dene Falls. You’ll head back along Red Walk to where you started, enjoying more time to chat and end the week on a high note. CARBONIFEROUS MONSTERS: 100MILLION YEARS BEFORE THE DINOSAURS
