At Battlesteads, they understand that pets are part of the family. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the ground floor and in the luxury lodges for a small additional charge of £15 per night.

The five and eight-course menus feature the likes of oak-smoked duck, chicken and salmon from the on-site smokery. And veggies, there is a range of options for you too. The cooking style is mostly modern British, with a few international choices to cater to all tastes.

Don’t miss the annual Battlesteads Beer Festival, a four-day celebration of the best beers, ciders and lagers, complete with music and entertainment.
