This new and unique botanical venue in Newcastle has packages available for twilight weddings this winter

Situated in the heart of Newcastle, The Garden Room is a brand-new event space at independent art gallery, The Biscuit Factory.
Step inside and you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d been transported into a tropical oasis – with 100s of botanicals adorning the space, an indoor waterfall, huge golden chandeliers and polished wood.
And whilst it’s a beautiful summer venue, in winter months, The Garden Room transforms into a golden haven, soaked in the glow of the late evening sun.
A new extension of The Biscuit Factory’s wedding offering, you can now say ‘I do’ surrounded by a living garden.
As it’s only been open a few months, it’s offering an incredible value winter wedding package. Here’s how to be one of the first couples to wed in this gorgeous space…

Say your vows as the early evening sunlight streams through the windows and glitters off the indoor waterfall behind you.
Here’s what’s included:
- Pre-ceremony arrival to the lounge one hour before the ceremony
- Ceremony in The Garden Room at 3.00pm or 4.00pm
- Post-ceremony prosecco or beer in the lounge
- Three-course wedding breakfast, including wine
- Glass of prosecco for toasts
- Minimum of 50 guests (up to 120 guests)

THE CEREMONY
Imagine the early evening glow bathing The Garden Room with golden light as tropical vines entwine above your heads when you say your vows.
With a ceremony at either 3.00pm or 4.00pm, it’s timed perfectly to catch the golden hour.
After the vows, you can relax with guests in a private lounge and outdoor area as The Garden Room is transformed for your wedding breakfast.
The spacious venue welcomes 50 to 120 of your friends and family, and its also wheelchair accessible.
THE FOOD
The Biscuit Factory is a venue renowned for its delicious wedding breakfast food offering.
A seasonal three-course menu will be chosen by you and crafted by the skilled head chef, served with the perfect wine pairings which the team can help you decide.

THE PERFECT VENUE
- Exclusive use of The Garden Room – your wedding will be entirely private for you and your guests.
- Contemporary, quality (and new) furnishings – use of ghost chairs and solid wood banqueting tables or round dining tables with linen comes as standard.
- Tableware – classic and understated tableware is provided for no additional fee with your food and drink package.
- Personal touches – you can even add on fresh stone-baked pizza from the pizza oven, grazing tables for evening snacks, and a variety of drinks options.
- Dedicated wedding planner – they’ll provide you with a timetable to keep you on track, and be there for you throughout the process.
THE WEDDING TEAM AT THE BISCUIT FACTORY
Your wedding will be managed by dedicated wedding planner Louise who is experienced at organising weddings in The Biscuit Factory.
Louise is incredible at pulling all the details together for short-notice weddings as she’s got all the best contacts from photographers to florists, MUAs and DJs and everything in between.
She’ll be on hand to answer any questions, guide you through the process and ensure everything runs stress-free.
