CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP

Sunday 1st and Wednesday 4th December 2024 from 10am – 12:30pm

Cost: £40 per person 

Get into the seasonal spirit with this Christmas wreath-making workshop. Join local crafter Deborah Haynes for a morning of creativity and cheer. From mossing the base to adding pinecones and ribbons, you’ll learn to craft your own beautiful wreath. And to top off the experience, enjoy a festive tipple of mulled wine as you work.

WILD WELLY WALKS

December 2024 – January 2025 

Keep children entertained with a Wild Welly Walks activity guide, filled with nature-themed tasks, perfect for families to do together. Spot wildlife, draw what you see and get messy in your wellies. After completing the challenge, kids get a free cookie from the café.

TOP WILDLIFE SPOTS TO VISIT

Hawthorn Wood Hide: get close to woodland birds like bullfinches and red-listed willow tits.

Wader Lake: a great spot for winter birdwatching, with sights of teal, wigeon and curlews gathering in the cold.

Saline Lagoon: catch a glimpse of kingfishers and little egrets with a full 360° view.

Spring Gill Woods: look out for jays, redwings and even roe deer.
