SOKU

This Asian-inspired dining concept from North East Chef of the Year 2024, Law Norman and his partner Alana Whenary proved to be a sell-out success when it launched in December. And thankfully, they’ve already announced new dates, including Deep North in Newcastle and a collab with Meat:Stack for NE1 Restaurant Week in January 2025.

If you ever see the silver pop-up van around the North East, be sure to stop and try the ‘sofishticated’ fish and chips. These guys have just finished a pop-up residency at Deep North, which was filled with delicious dishes. They have loads more fun stuff planned for 2025, so be sure to watch their Instagram and try them if you can.
