Flower Power is back at Wylam Brewery to showcase the best vegan food in the region.

Choose from numerous vendors offering vegan burgers, curries, pizzas and everything in between. There will also be the usual live DJ music, a gin bar, refreshing Wylam beers and a coffee station.

Buy your tokens, trade them in for food and vote for your favourite trader at the end of the night.

Queen Heaven has been enjoyed by audiences around the world from Germany to Japan – and now you can see it in Newcastle! Enjoy legendary rock band Queen’s hits set to fun, exciting visuals in Life’s Planetarium (a 360° immersive dome).

Using original archive footage, it celebrates the best of Queen’s music, including ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’; ‘We Will Rock You’; ‘Radio Gaga’ and ‘We are the Champions’, combining classic music videos and immersive solar system visuals.

LWWC Event: The Self Care Place (For Those Impacted By Cancer) – Jasmine Yoga

This free yoga event provides a place of comfort and ease for anyone impacted by cancer, including those with a diagnosis, loved ones, carers and oncology staff.

Yogi Steph will lead the 2-hour relaxation session, which will involve gentle movement, easing tension and exploring restful shapes for the nervous system. Props will be provided so that you can get as comfortable as possible while practising breathwork and mindfulness.

Let your body and mind find peace as you look out at views of the sea and sky, and enjoy a warm drink and homemade treat afterwards while watching the sun set.

Wild Walk: Mid-Winter Highlights – Washington Wetland Centre

This hour-long wild walk lets you soak up the sights and sounds of winter on the reserve.

Reserve warden Kate will lead the way, showing you different catkins, nuts and seeds and the types of creatures that might nibble on them. Look out for any snowdrops!

This is a great opportunity to practise your wildlife identification skills with expert tips and hints, as well as ask any questions during the walk.

If you’re a photographer, you’ll be able to capture some stunning mid-winter shots too!
