Our advertising manager, Charlotte, was lucky enough to be invited down to stay and she raved about the attention to detail at Darwin Forest. Evolution Health & Fitness is a hit for all ages. The gym, swimming pool and spa area (with a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) provide opportunities to unwind or break a sweat. For little ones, the Little Monkeys soft play centre is a dream come true, while older kids will love the activity den, complete with pool tables, air hockey and arcade games. And for under 5s, there’s a dedicated soft playroom that’ll keep them occupied for hours.

WHERE IS THE PEAK DISTRICT?

The Peak District is in central England in the counties of Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and a small part of Yorkshire. Did you know was the first national park to be established in the UK, in 1951, and covers an area of around 555 square miles?

The Peak District is about 125 miles south of Newcastle, just over a 2.5-hour drive. The park is famous for its stunning landscapes, including limestone valleys, moorlands, rolling hills and picturesque villages.
