ON THE MENU THIS VALENTINE’S AT HIDE
Available from 12th-15th February from 4pm-9pm Wednesday to Friday and from 5-9pm on Saturday
Start your romantic evening with a slice of Guinness loaf served with blushed tomato chutney (VG), followed by a comforting baked oyster pie topped with crispy shallots to set the mood.

Then dive into a flavour-packed beef tartare taco with pimento pepper and pomegranate and then enjoy hand-dived Orkney scallop ceviche served with beetroot and broad beans. For the main event, tuck in to Northumberland beef sirloin paired with BBQ Roscoff onion and a smooth carrot purée.
Of course, you have to round off your romantic meal with something indulgent. How does a strawberry crémeux topped with strawberry meringue and basil and a chocolate parfait with hazelnut praline and orange (VG) sound?
And no worries if you’re vegan or vegetarian, Hide’s got you covered with their alternative dishes. Start with a baked leek and potato pie with crispy shallots, then move on to a tomato concassé taco with pimento pepper and pomegranate. Followed by a fresh tofu ceviche with beetroot, broad beans and a carrot “steak” served with BBQ Roscoff onion and carrot purée. To satisfy your sweet tooth, there’s a vegan meringue with strawberry compote and basil.
If you fancy something extra, upgrade your tasting experience with a luxury Scottish cheese or vegan cheeseboard featuring Peter’s Yard crackers and winter-spiced onion chutney.
