5 places to watch the Carabao Cup Final in Newcastle

“Tell me ma, me ma, I won’t be home for tea; we’re going to Wembley; tell me ma, me ma…”

These words echoed around a buzzing St James’ Park to the tune of Doris Day’s classic, ‘Que Sera, Sera’, as the Magpies dominated Arsenal 4-0 on aggregate to reach their second Carabao Cup final under Eddie Howe.

As the Toon Army descend upon London to face Premier League leaders Liverpool, 31,939 fans will have the privilege of supporting the team at the prestigious Wembley Stadium on March 16.

Tickets for the final were like gold dust and sold out instantly as fans dreamed of witnessing history with Newcastle United lifting their first domestic trophy since winning the FA Cup in 1955.

If you weren’t one of the fortunate few to get a ticket to the game, there will be fan zones and sports bars around the city showing the game so fans can celebrate, or commiserate, the occasion together.
