Colmans Fish & Chips opens in Fenwick Newcastle

In the latest iconic collaboration of two North East businesses, Colmans Fish & Chips has opened in Fenwick Newcastle.
The two North-East family businesses, have over two centuries of history between them. Both in their fifth generation, the companies have come together to bring the nation’s favourite dish to the heart of Newcastle.
Renowned for being some of the best fish and chips in the region, winning both national and regional awards, Colmans have even cooked their famous fish and chips for Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday celebrations in Guatemala and Rome.
Now, you can step into their family-friendly restaurant in Fenwick, where you can enjoy their traditional fish and chips, as well as quirky twists on chippy classics and daily specials.

THE MENU
Start off with some chippy-inspired small plates, including an XL Prawn Taco, Mushy Pea Fritters, Spam Hash Browns and Classic Prawn Cocktail.
The main event offers Prime Cod or Line-Caught Haddock, traditionally fried in Colmans famous batter, served with thick-cut chips, fresh lemon and tartare sauce. There’s also Breaded Whitby Scampi, Colmans Fish ‘Buttie’, and Simply Grilled Fish available.
If you’re not in the mood for seafood, they also have dishes like Steak and Brown Ale Pie, Battered Geordie Bangers and Crispy Halloumi.
Plus, of course, delicious sides like curry sauce, mushy peas, Fenwick stottie and free scraps.

Monday – Saturday: 11.30am – 6.30pm
Sunday: 11.30am – 4.30pm
Last reservation 1.5 hours before closing.
