The Botanical Garden by Fentimans has landed on Fenwick rooftop, Roof Thirty Nine

If rooftop cocktails, floral views and sunshine dining sound like your perfect summer combo, then you’ll want to head straight to Roof Thirty Nine at Fenwick Newcastle, which has just reopened for the season – this time with a botanical twist.

Teaming up with North East soft drinks legends, Fentimans, the iconic rooftop has been transformed into The Botanical Garden, an immersive outdoor pop-up designed to celebrate summer in full bloom.

Think beautiful floral surroundings, bold botanical flavours and a menu made for sun-drenched lunches and post-work drinks.

A floral rooftop oasis in the heart of the city

Since it opened in 2021, Roof Thirty Nine has become one of Newcastle’s go-to destinations for al-fresco dining. And this summer, it’s had a floral makeover. Moving on from its indoor spring pop-up, Fentimans has brought its Botanical Garden concept outdoors – and the result is beautiful.

With flower-filled decor, views of the city skyline and an atmosphere that balances laid-back luxury with summer party vibes, this new pop-up is the perfect place to unwind with friends.

Sip botanical cocktails with a Fentimans twist

The drinks menu is where things really come to life. Alongside Fentimans’ iconic soft drinks (yes, we’re talking that famous Rose Lemonade), you’ll find a curated cocktail list designed to showcase how can you mix them up into alcoholic cocktails.

Expect returning favourites from the spring pop-up, including the Rhubarb Aperol Fizz – a refreshing mix of Aperol, Fentimans Rhubarb Tonic and prosecco – and the Pink Sunset Spritz, which blends Campari, Fentimans Pink Grapefruit Tonic, mint and prosecco. It’s sunshine in a glass.

And if you’re not drinking? Their non-alcoholic options are just as good, with fresh, zesty flavours that don’t compromise on taste.
