Hew Locke: The Procession – Baltic

The Procession reflects the cycle of life, history, and the ebb and flow of cultures, people, finance and power.

In this captivating installation, you’ll seeĀ figures who travel through space and time. Many carry historical and cultural baggage and wear embellishments that reflect global control, both financial and colonial.

The installation takes inspiration from real events and histories. Visitors are invited to walk alongside the figures into an enlarged vision of an imagined future.
