Science Speakeasy: Elephant in the (Court) Room – Life Science Centre

During this grown-up night out at the Life Science Centre, a panel of experts will discuss and debate the concept sentient life.

They’ll explore the implications of granting an animal ‘personhood’ status and delve into questions like: Should there be a sentience hierarchy for animals? Can you hurt a hamster’s feelings? Does a chicken have a best friend? And many more.

This fun talk is full of insights, interesting viewpoints and terrible puns.
