Dark Skies Festival – North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks

The inky black skies of our National Parks offer the ideal backdrop for stargazing. This family-friendly celebration will feature a plethora of activities and experiences to showcase the starry vistas of the North.

Venture on a spectacular Constellation Trail in the grounds of Sutton Bank and Danby Lodge National Park Centres in the North York Moors, or hop onto a Mountain Goat minibus for a scenic tour of the Yorkshire Dales, ending with an evening stargazing session at Castle Bolton.

Visitors can also enjoy favourites like star parties, astro photography sessions, nocturnal nature evenings, mindfulness walks, space-themed crafting and art displays.
