Floristry Masterclass – The Flower Folk

This floristry class is designed to give you an understanding of basic floristry principles, as well as a fun and informative hands-on practical session which allows you to put these principles into practice. At the end you can take away your own beautiful, hand-tied bouquet made with seasonal flowers and foliage.

In the workshop, you will cover basics such as conditioning and how to look after cut flowers to prolong their life, how to select flowers and foliage (colours, shapes, textures), moving on to creating your own hand-tied or vase arrangement.

Once your hand-tied arrangement has been made, you will be shown how to gift-wrap the bouquet, which you can then take home safely wrapped or to be given as a gift.

Participants are welcome to bring along their own vase or vessel to put their arrangements into rather than gift wrapping. The Flower Folk also have a range of vases to buy at extra cost if needed.

Included in the price of the workshop:

– all materials for the class

– 10% discount in The Flower Folk shop on the day of the workshop.
