Joséphine: A Woman of Taste and Fashion – The Bowes Museum

‘Joséphine: A Woman of Taste and Fashion’ is a new exhibition celebrating The Bowes Museum co-founderʼs taste in textiles and fashion.

Admire an impressive display of floor-to-ceiling textiles collected by Joséphine Bowes, including designer fashion pieces, beautifully embroidered chair covers, lacework, historic dresses from her personal wardrobe and more.

This display complements the larger exhibition at the gallery: ‘From Joséphine Bowes: Trendsetters and Trailblazers‘.
