Little Manfred – Alnwick Playhouse

Based on the book by Michael Morpurgo, this captivating play follows Charley and her little brother, Alex, in the summer of 1966.

Walking along the beach, the two children encounter two older men staring out to sea. Slowly, Charley and Alex begin to unravel their mother’s past and learn that friendships can be built around difficult circumstances… especially as their home was a posting for German war prisoners back in 1945.

Suitable for families, this unmissable performance features beautiful puppetry and enchanting storytelling.
