Raku and Obvara Taster Class – Muddy Fingers Pottery

Learn the art of two ancient firing methods: Raku and Obvara.

You’ll be provided with three pots – two for raku firing, another for obvara – which you can glaze and adjust to your liking. The pots will then be fired in an extremely hot kiln or bisque-fired pot.

Once cooled, you’ll see the effect that these ways of firing have on the pots, bringing out gorgeous organic golds, coppers and bronzes.

You’ll leave the workshop with three beautifully unique pots to display at home!
