Worlds Apart – Northern Stage

This story of hope, laughter and love follows Egg – a 13-year-old who lives with their eccentric gran and Mam in Seaburn.

With no one to talk to at school and difficulties at home, Egg escapes to the virtual reality world, where defeating evil space villains and the risk of getting sucked into giant black holes weirdly makes them feel safe.

Through an honest look at unpaid care, the characters go on an adventure of unlikely transformation and discovery. This is a relatable tale of growing up, growing old and coming together to face virtual and real-life monsters.
