A visit to Clayton Road is always worth it, and more so now that Jesmond Wine Co has opened. Walk in to a warm interior with more bottles than you’d expect, and if you’re lucky – a bottle out to taste, and the fire lit.

Expect a warm greeting fire or not, and wine experts to first timers will go home pleased with their choice. A multitude of regions, grapes, and prices to choose from, be it red or white. You’ll also find champagne, and a small collection of spirits. For those wine connoisseurs amongst us, Jon also has hard to find bottles, and it’s always best to keep an eye on what he’s getting in.
