The Big Banh

The Big Banh is a Vietnamese-inspired sandwich and coffee bar on Chillingham Road, serving a variety of banh mi.

In Vietnamese cuisine the banh mi is an airy, light baguette with a thin and crispy crust. They are split lengthways and filled with savoury ingredients – some of the options at Big Banh include pork belly simmered in an Asian soy stock and finished with a sticky glaze, or smoked chilli and soy tofu.
