The Fifth Point Diving Centre

An adventure that protects the ocean.

After running a very successful dive centre in Malaysia, Nic and James returned to the North East in 2016 to set up Fifth Point. They took the knowledge and love and respect for the ocean back to our region, and with this and their own drive to clean up the seas, they created a dive centre that has something for all levels of diver. They use the most modern equipment, employ experienced and professional instructors, and also offer equipment servicing and retail. You can learn to dive, give scuba diving a go, or even go on a ‘snorkel safari’!

Most importantly Fifth Point regularly hold beach and underwater clean ups, collecting litter from the shoreline and the water. They take nothing from the ocean except rubbish, and the Dive Centre itself was made from as much reclaimed material as Nic and James could get their hands on. Recycling, up-cycling and composting is common place at the centre as well as a growing range of products to help divers lead a plastic free lifestyle.
