Wild and Free Gallery

Wild and Free Gallery hopes to inspire visitors to embrace their own creativity in some way.

The business was established in 2014 by local artist Gail Curry, who lost her speech in 2019 as a result of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. She now communicates with customers through speech apps on her phone and tablet.

Originally working in fibre and fabric, Gail is now concentrating on painting and has completely refurbished her former gift shop (Happy Planet) into a contemporary art gallery.

There are regular monthly exhibitions together with a wide range of original art for sale from local and national artists. Visitors are invited to take some time out of their day to slow down and enjoy what’s on show, with seats, tea and coffee available to aid the process.
